Frequently Asked QuestionsWhere are the albums made?Los Angeles What's the construction of the album like?We're very particular about the albums we sell to our clients. We insist on quality products that will stand the test of time as long as the album is stored in a cool, dry place, and handled with average care. These albums are made with Kodak Endura Professional Photographic Paper printed at a professional color lab. The photos are bound onto cardboard pages using a hot mount process that includes both heat and pressure to ensure longevity of the album. The outside cover features a photo that is under plastic, so it won't scratch. We've taken these albums to bridal shows, they are durable! Does the album have a guarantee?Yes, We guarantee the album against manufacture defects for a period of five years. What types of files (and other things) do we need to give to you?It's important that we get the high resolution images from your wedding. It's also important that you have the rights to make the album. You photographer should give you a release form. The release stipulates that the photographer took the images and grants you the right to make images from your high resolution files? If you don't have a release form, we'll give you one for your photographer to sign and return to us. The files should be full sized and without water marks. If you don't have access to your files free and clear, we're sorry, we cannot help you. You will need to know how to make a copy of a DVD or CD so that you can send us a copy of your original files. It's super important that you send us a copy of your files and not the original media. If you need help with this, we'll help you. What if we're uncertain of the quality of the images, can you look at them before moving on with the project?Sometimes, what appears to be a horrible image can be fixed with a little TLC in Photoshop. Dark images, bad color shifts and other things can often be fixed. Out of focus or over exposed images can't be fixed. If you mail us your digital images we'll look it over for you. If your images will require more than the standard amount of attention, we'll let you know your options. We do this free of charge. How does the pricing work?We have a longer price list that we'll send to you. The bottom line is that we keep the prices inexpensive so that you can afford to put together a nice album. The price of the album includes the cost of design. Clearly as you add on more pages the cost of the album goes up because aside from additional material, there will be extra work in designing the pages. But as the amount of pages increase the number of images included in the album will also increase. Adding ten page to this album takes the price up $250 for the an additional ten pages, but ten more after that is only $100. My parents may want a copy of the album, is there a discount if I order a "Parent Album?"Yes, at the time of printing there is a very significant discount on replica albums in various sizes. We'll give you the details. Is this the only album size and style I can get?We have albums from different manufactures including Graphi Studio and Leather Craftsmen. If we tried to price out the albums for all the different manufactures the price list would go on for many, many pages. We like simple, but we'll give you some clues as to what else we offer. Album Size- You can upgrade your album to a 12x12 album for $5 a page side. Different Manufacturer- If the album that we're showing in this offer was a car, it would be a Toyota. We love Toyota and even own one of their cars. The next upgrade option is a Cadillac Escalade. These albums have a lot more options, the construction is nearly bullet proof, and if you want and album that's going to last longer than your kids, this is certainly the one. Of course the Cadillac option has the Cadillac price to go along with it. It's not going to double the cost of your album, and if you're into superior quality, this is a must. You're going to jack up the price with hidden fees and extra charges, right?What we're simply trying to do is get a great album at a great price out to people. Before we start your project we'll give you a written quote as to what it will cost to make your album. If your album ends up costing you twice as much as you ever dreamed it would cost it goes into the "I'll have to think about it" realm which means it won't get done. Thus it's not in our best interest to make this so expensive that you don't want to do it. Our overall assumption is that you had a reasonably good photographer photograph your wedding. If you had less than a splendid photographer give you more bad images than good images, if we can fix the problems we'll do so. However, since we're taking more time to fix images, there will be an additional cost associated with it. We'll quote you the rate before you decide to take on the project. Also, we'll clearly tell you the number of changes you can make to the layouts and the additional fees for going over and above these changes. How long will it take to get my album?You should have your album within 90 days of approving the start of the project, perhaps longer if you don't get back to us right away. I have negatives, can I still get a magazine album?Yes, it will cost $2 an image to scan your negatives.
How will I pick images to go into the album?We have a fairly simple and straight forward process, we'll be glad to share that with you when you contact us. Do you do any retouching on the images?Yes, we do a modest amount of retouching to help smooth out skin and improve colors. More advanced retouching is an additional fee.

You don't need to live local to us in order for us to assemble your album because we can handle everything via phones and computers. You will need high resolution digital files from the photographer and/or negatives along with the rights to print from these images.
